Social Responsibilities
SOCIAL OBILIGATIONS :
Towards our commitment to social obligation, we are running APPAR RELIGIOUS TRUST & THIRUNAAGEYCHCHURAM MAANIKKAM THIRUNAAVUKKARASU CHARITABLE TRUST. The objects of the Appar Religious Trust are :
(a) To provide, support and maintain street lights, facilitate rain water harvesting for the benefit of the public and locality in general.
(b) To promote and support proper upkeep of garbage facilities by the public and to provide tree saplings to the public in order to provide greenery in the neighborhood. (c) To establish, maintain and run studentships, scholarships and render other kind of aid to students including supply of books, stipends, medals and other incentives to study, without any distinction as to caste, colour, race, creed or gender.
(d) To promote, establish, support, maintain or grant aid to any educational institution for granting scholarships, prizes, medals, awards for excellence in studies, sports and scientific research, distribution of books and note books for poor and deserving students.

- To carry out Aalaya periodical functions / celebrations and other similar activities.
- To perform regular religious practices.
- To maintain, renovate, expand or reconstruct and if necessary to carry out any repairs to the temple.
- Providing financial assistance for performing Annadhanam, panagam, butter milk, drinking water and feeding the poor directly or through other institutions.
